LP Computer Lab
Our school renders computer assisted learning from elementary classes itself. It ensures reciprocal relationship in the process of learning. We are gifted with sincere and hard working faculties to guide the students in learning. To hold and lift small children who walk away in the grazing field of knowledge, our enthusiastic and motivated team of teachers are always dedicated themselves for our offspring. Due to convenient location of the LP computer lab, it helps the students with easy access especially for small children. We have a full fledged networked multimedia computers to meet the modern computing necessities. Twenty High speed systems are organised in a well defined manner with Air Conditioned room to eradicate the consequence of acute climate disorder and to ensure better study atmosphere for both students and teachers. This helps us to nullify the maintenance cost of lab due to the cool and smooth room temperature. All systems have been installed with latest Ubuntu operating system with rich application softwares to satisfy the study needs of Lower primary school Students.
Due to insecure usage of internet by small children we all know there is a possibility of off tracking their behaviour. So the strategy introduced by other lab in charge and school management, they will block the internet for students. This will shed a dark shadow over the knowledge exploration process for students. By anticipating this in our lab we provided internet for our students by blocking fraudulent and porn sites. Moreover our dedicated server is monitoring the students activity over the internet in terms of node IP address and user names as well as it is tracking the site address, date and time. Also, if it is necessary the server will be capable to provide a detailed report about internet usage with in a specific date and time duration. For participating the conservation of energy campaign of our nation, we urged to help by delivering energy to electricity board. Also, we are driving power to our all systems with solar energy. Major area of our rooftops are fetching the solar power for our internal usage.
Our LP lab is a part of campus area network of Bethany Group of Institutions. To ensure the protection of data of students, we provide a storage space reservation. So, each students can posses a separate user authentication mechanism to open their private location. The accessibility of the lab opens during the specific hours. In this private location all students have facility to keep their data secure with in an academical year. These data will be secured in the centralised Linux Authentication server. The same facility is also provided for teachers and office staffs to keep their data in a highly secured manner. This server is installed with latest Samba 4 Technology. To ensure data protection we have added an extra layer of security with MAC filtering, ensuring that any one with an unknown device canot connect to School Campus Area Network(CAN).
All inclusive, it is a dynamic platform to meet the educational goals of a student in the demanding world.
